Someone somewhere's watching me Writing down everything they see All I drink, and all I eat And all of the people that I meet
All the places that I go And all of the languages that I know All the classes that I took And the full name of my favorite book
Every time that I lied And everything that I once tried Every drug and every bed And every strange thing that I said
All the countries, all the friends The list goes on, it never ends The things I bought, the things I taught And every battle that I fought
They'll put it all into a file And put that in a drawer for a while And if one day they need some dirt They'll look in there for something to hurt
There are lots of files and lots of drawers This is the way they protect our shores Control it all and it can't go wrong Watch us all, watch us long
Someone, somewhere's watching me Writing down everything they see My file grows, with all they know Which someday, maybe they will show
